I have been terribly lazy for the past four months and haven't written anything for my blog. In my defense I am taking summer classes, and I went back to work even though my boss gave me ten weeks off for the summer.
Last night I took the final for the first five-week session of my Physics class. The next five-week session begins on Thursday, but for now I am out of school for two whole days. So far today I have spent some time networking(Talking on the phone), and I am working on my laundry. I read my Mama's blog today and caught up on her posts, then I looked at Tina and Melina's blogs using the links on Mama's site. I really enjoyed reading their posts. All three of them are talented writers, I enjoy writing and it is helpful for me to read other peoples writing. Melina's blog has a lot of information about homeschooling. I am impressed with the information and knowledge she had to offer, but what really struck me was the way in which she expressed that knowledge. As a home school graduate it really touched me to witness such an eloquent speaker for something I believe in as deeply as I believe in homeschooling. I won't say I couldn't imagine not having been home schooled because I could, the fact is I wouldn't want too. Since I am on the subject, I want to offer a profound thank you to my Mama for choosing to home school me and my brothers. I am forever grateful that I had that experience. You were and are a wonderful teacher.

To Work or Not To Work
Aunt Fara just left to go home after her afternoon visit, and Jay and Travis are at the ball field so its just me and Mama at home right now. I should be upstairs writing the draft of an essay for my English class tomorrow, but instead I am posting. I'm really happy with my English teacher this semester, which is a nice change from last semester. My Professor really has a great way of dissecting literature, he sees things and get details that I never would get. I am getting better though, I'm actually learning something in this class! What a shock! I actually like to write papers for my Professor, I want to hear what he has to say about my work because I respect his opinion.
I have signed up for both halves of a physics class this upcoming summer semester. I can't wait, I'll be in class from 4:30 to 10:00pm three days a week. Right now I'm just hoping that the classes will make, there are only three people signed up for the first half and two for the second half. I keep asking people that I know at school if they are going to take the class, I am really trying to drum up some participation. I asked my boss Mr. John for the summer off so I can take these classes. I'm looking at it as a sabbatical. I think it will be a lot of fun.
Well, I think I will go work on my essay now, after I make myself a cup of tea. Maybe I can get Mama to sit down and listen to ramble on about the poem I'm going to write about. For some reason talking about something helps me understand it better than just writing about it, and Mama always has really good input.

Concerning my Title
I am taking English 112 this semester and one of the poems we read was called "Naming of Parts". Not only do I like the poem I thought the title fit my goal in this blog, a naming of all the parts of my life as they come to be. Just thought I'd explain the title, it is a tad off the wall.
Trial and Error
I heard about Blogger from my Mama, and thought I would give it a try. Having never read a blog I have no expectations for my own, I just plan on trying to write whatever is happening in my life, or just whatever I'm thinking about at the time. Hopefully I can actually devote enough time to this to make is worth while to read. Between school and work I don't do too good a job of keeping in touch with family members, so I thought this might be a nice way to keep everyone up-to-date on what I'm doing.
